Our Mission is to support our common interest in the art of quilting. Club programs are designed to benefit and educate members and the public in preserving and appreciating this art form.
Our quilt club is open to anyone who is interested in quilting. Prospective members may attend up to three meetings before becoming a member. New members are always welcome.
Members can participate in twice monthly club meetings, social gatherings, participate in group projects and challenges and may attend other specialized meetings such as the applique group, queen bees and Lynchburg Area Fiber Arts (LAFA). They also have access to the many resources available on this website including resources, patterns, club library directory. photo gallery - and much more.
Due to covid-19 we will not resume our large group meetings at the church until further notice.
Club Meetings - We meet at Calvary Baptist Church at 20957 Timberlake Road Lynchburg 24502. Members gather around 9:30 AM for a social time, with the official business/meeting activities starting promptly at 10:00 AM.
The first meeting of the month is focused on club business, and block-of-the-month projects. The second meeting of the month is devoted to programs. Show-and-tell is a feature of every meeting.
Here’s how to enter the property:
Enter any of the vestibule doors, but once through them please use the far right door to enter the building (it's the only one that's unlocked.) Go around to the right of the stairs; Fellowship Hall is directly behind them.
Weather Policy - We follow the Lynchburg City Schools schedule when there is questionable weather on a Club Meeting or Workshop date. If City schools are closed, there is no Club meeting. If City schools open late, the Club meetings will start at the regular time of 10 AM.
